I was recently asked to create a logo and the complimenting Facebook cover image and profile image for a new fundraising campaign The Jade Paw Project where all proceeds will be donated to animal rescue groups.
I went to VJA High School and was in the marching band (Go Thunderbolts!) with one of the founders of this fundraising campaign, Shelly Hokanson, so it was a real pleasure getting to work with her on this project. Plus I love animals (dogs are my personal favorite) so any time I can do something to help them out I am all in!
The concept behind The Jade Paw Project is simple, they up-cycle cat and dog figurines by painting them green and selling them to animal lovers. The proceeds are then donated to animal rescue organizations in the US.
So when coming up with my design I wanted to include a green dog and cat to represent the up-cycled figurines in the imagery of the logo design. And then the other key was to make sure the jade paw appeared within the name so that it was always present weather as a stand alone logo, the profile image or in conjunction with the dog and cat.
If you are interested in supporting animals and would like to make one of the figurines your own please click the dog or cat figurine images below to be taken directly to their SHOP page for more info!
Thanks again to The Jade Paw Project for selecting me to work with them and I wish them all the best in their fundraising efforts!
