Wedding gifts from the Bride and Groom

I was contacted not too long ago by a soon to be Bride and Groom looking to create gifts for each of their parents.  They were looking to have a portrait of each of their families homes created and were looking for a watercolor style.  I readily accepted as this sounded like fun.

I had them send some photos and off I went.  I had explained to them that I would share the sketch of the home with them for approval before moving onto full color rendering.  Below you will see the steps for each of the homes as well as the finished results.

I provided them with the requested 14"x11" for each of their parents and then also made prints for the Bride and Groom to keep for themselves as 10"x8" as well as a set of greeting cards with the art of each of the homes on them for them to keep or use.

Upon received them the Bride emailed me saying

" We put them in frames with mats that night and they look great! We cannot wait to give them to our parents. Honestly, its one of the things I'm most looking forward to with wedding festivities because I know these will be such special gifts."

That makes me so happy!

But I was even more blown away when they sent me the following photos after the wedding, showing how they included this portraits into the ceremony as well.  Wow what an honor!

I wish them both all the best together and thank them again for selecting me to create these special memories for them and their families.
